This November (13/14) we will be hosting the 4th Asian Leadership Summit at the Gold Coast Hotel, Hong Kong. The Summit aims to bring some of the regions most innovative educational thought leaders and practitioners together for two days of provocation, inspiration and exploration.

The Summit will once again be facilitated by David Fitzgerald and Simon Breakspear with international educational leaders Alma Harris and Michelle Jones combining with innovative school case studies from Chinese International School, Hong Kong and New International School of Thailand.

This JAWs is relevant to all colleagues who are currently leading the provision and development of G&T within their school.

This Job Alike Workshop is an opportunity for you to network with other FOBISIA members, to share good practice and co-construct new knowledge.
All participants will be actively involved in the planning of the agenda and will be provided with opportunities to contribute. All sessions will be led and facilitated by the participants.
We want to make the sessions as practical and as useful as possible, therefore, we have planned in a number of sessions where the sharing of ideas and resources can take place. Other sessions on the agenda will be completed following input from the registered participants.

Workshops are invited on the following topics:
• Standards and progress
• Effective provision in the mainstream classroom
• Identification
• Assessment
• Transfer and transition
• Curriculum differentiation
• Monitoring and evaluation

The workshop will be hosted at the new Kellett School Kowloon Bay campus in Hong Kong. The campus is the purpose built home for the Kellett Senior School and is a ground breaking design for city campus schools.

Colleagues are invited to participate in a two day workshop exploring ‘The Outstanding Sixth Form’. The workshop would be of interest to Senior Leaders who currently have responsibility for Sixth Form provision and aspiring leaders in this area. The workshop will explore all aspects of outstanding Sixth Form education in International Schools and will use the standards stipulated by BSO, ISI and Ofsted as a steer.
The workshop will be hosted at the new Kellett School Kowloon Bay campus in Hong Kong. The campus is the purpose built home for the Kellett Senior School and is a ground breaking design for city campus schools.

Rosie Austin, the Vice Principal of a leading British Beacon VIth Form College will facilitate the workshop. See further information in the attachment.
