Information literacy is knowing when and why you need information, where to find it, and how to evaluate, use and communicate it in an ethical manner. (www.cilip.org.uk)
If you are a teacher or librarian and have been working on Critical Thinking, Inquiry Skills, Digital Literacy or Academic Honesty in either Infants, Juniors or Seniors then this could be the JAW for you. You will be expected to share the work you have been carrying out in your school and to actively participate in this two day event.
During the Job Alike Workshop (JAWs) there will be an opportunity to network with Librarians and teachers from other FOBISIA schools to share effective practice on how Information Literacy is being developed in their schools.
There is an expectation that all attendees actively participate throughout the two days and so the agenda will be completed once all of the participants are registered.
S$50 to be paid on arrival in cash
