Typhoon Bopha has been wreaking havoc in the Philippines, but has now passed over the landmasses and is heading into the South China Sea. The pressure at the centre of this typhoon is 975 mbs, which our Yr 9 Geographers will be able to tell you is very low for this time of year. Wind speeds are currently 75knots, and there is the likelyhood that will intensify again now it is over the warm sea. Again Yr 9 will be able to tell you why…
