The Librarians Knowledge Sharing Workshop

The focus of the Librarians Knowledge Sharing Workshop is sharing ideas and experiences within the library peer network. Librarians from international schools in the region are encouraged to attend. The conference will feature a keynote speaker, as well as opportunities for attendees to deliver brief presentations on a variety of library-related topics, leading into group discussions. Possible topics include: ┬áLibrary Management Systems; planning successful author visits and library events; e-book and audio book systems; renovations and remodels; new technology for libraries; CPD for library assistants; the social library (Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook); best practices for teaching research skills; collection development tools; and marketing library services. The cost for the two-day workshop is $150 USD (4900 THB); the deadline for registration is Monday, 26th January.
