Weekly Review – 07.12.18
In Literacy, we looked at the features of persuasion. Be careful, they may start using some of these these techniques on you! They applied their knowledge of The Gladiator Games to plan and write a persuasive letter.
In Numeracy, we have been converting measures. The children have been able to convert between mm, cm and m and were able to apply this in their QR code treasure hunt.
In Science, we were able to apply our knowledge of rocks to organise them into groups by identifying similar properties. The children used excellent observation skills to recognise the differences and similarities.
In Art, some classes were finishing off their colour wheels, while others have moved onto their final piece. A magnificent mosaic depicting a Roman scene.
In Computing, the classes have continued their excellent work on PowerPoint and have added animations to their slides. The children thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the presentations and had objects whizzing around appearing from nowhere on their slides.
