Friday 7th December 2018 As the Christmas holidays fast approach there has been no lapse in the effort or enthusiasm from the children at school this week; a highlight of which was our trips to the Sikh Gurdwara. Our warmest thanks go to all of the parents that gave up their time to show us […]
As part of our comparative religion and PSHE curriculum, we enjoyed an informative Gurdwara visit. After Langur, we were given a guided tour which included visiting the Guru Granth Sahib as well as a question and answer session. Many thanks to our Shrewsbury parents for their invaluable assistance, and to Mr Donno for his organisation.
4CL had a fabulous morning exploring the gurdwara. As well as learning about the different activities that happen in the gurdwara, we enjoyed tasting the langur in the langur hall, and saw the Guru Granth Sahib on its bed. The children were impeccably behaved and sang songs on the bus all the way home!
Please see attached for information about the Year 3 and 4 Sports Day which will take place on 15th January from 10am. We hope to see as many of you there as possible to share in the fun and support your children. The Year 4 team
