As part of our learning on the circulatory system, we dissected a pig’s heart. This enabled us to visualise what happens within the body and consolidate prior theoretical understanding. 5AW Escape…mostly

5AW visited the Escape Hunt Experience today and became detectives for the morning. The tasks were challenging, a little mysterious, and required a lot of collaboration skills. 3 of the 4 groups succeeded in escaping…although I’m pleased to say everyone made it back to SHB safely.

10BA visit 5AW

As part of Fully Booked, 10BA visited 5AW. They began by reading books simply for the pleasure of reading. This was followed by a question and answer session during which Year 10’s shared their thoughts and advice. Finally, Year 5 read to Year 10, thinking about authorial techniques, predictions, inference and asking questions.
