5CH Literacy – Internalising a text

5CH solve the Mystery of Mrs Brown

In Year 5, we have begun our Daring Detectives topic. On Monday we began with our first mystery – Missing Mrs Brown. We used important detectives skills: investigating fingerprints, analysing handwriting, questioning suspects, and deducing the motive. It was a brilliant hook for our topic and the children made excellent accusations!
