The children in 5RW worked really hard this week to create pitch posters and lobby the tough group of ‘Dragons’ for extra investment into their Charity Enterprise products. All groups displayed excellent speaking and listening skills and the very high standard of work was pleasing to see.

5RW had great fun today showcasing their knowledge and understanding of number. In groups, the children created detective maths booklets which included work on place value, decimals, the four operations, word problems and number patterns. They then swapped booklets and answered each others questions. Great fun!
5RW had a great trip to the Escape Rooms today. The children had to solve puzzles and find clues to enable them to escape from their room within 60 minutes. The children enjoyed art today and worked really hard to create detailed 3D drawings of balls of paper; focusing particularly on line, shade and tone. We will be using these skills to create detailed drawings of pieces of crime scene evidence in the coming weeks.
