Another busy and exciting week!
To consolidate our rivers learning, Year 6 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Chulachomklao Fort last week. We explored the mangroves, learning about how they are specially adapted for tidal areas and particularly enjoyed seeing wildlife such as mud skippers and monitor lizards!
In Literacy, classes have been building towards planning our final newspaper report by organizing all of our research and notes. Some classes have been interviewing staff members who were in Bangkok during the floods which has been a valuable primary source of information.
Our statistics learning has moved on to learning about interpreting and constructing pie charts this week. We have revised key skills to support this such as fractions and drawing angles.
Many thanks for attending parents evenings this week. It has been great for the teachers to get 1:1 time with you talking about your children.
The swimming gala will be rearranged for a later date which will be announced by the PE department as soon as possible.
Friday 13th October is Memorial Day so school is closed.
Next week is the last full week before the half term break. School will close after a full day on Friday.
See you on Monday,
