In 6SK, Mrs King took the students to the Food Technology zone to make bread.This bread making activity is part of our science learning. Recently,we learn about yeast. The most important use of yeast is making dough rise, so it is often used in bakery.We took some photos of our bread making.
Here are the two bread recipes we used:
Simple Bread Recipe

|50g flour||50g flour|
|35ml warm water||35ml warm water|
|1.5g sugar||1.5g sugar|
|2g salt||2g salt|
- Put flour, salt, sugar in a bowl.
- Put yeast in the water and mix.
- Then put yeast, water and oil into the flour mix.
- Mix well and then knead.
- Roll into a ball.
- Place on the baking tray.
Repeat for bread 2
Leave to rise
Later, place in a preheated oven at 190 C for about 20 minutes
