Workshop
Frantic Assembly creates thrilling, energetic and unforgettable theatre. The company attracts new and young audiences with work that reflects contemporary culture. Vivid and dynamic, Frantic Assembly’s unique physical style combines movement, design, music and text. Bring your exploration of devising techniques to life by engaging the skills and experience of a specialist Creative Practitioner. This workshop will give you an insight into how Frantic Assembly creates new work and provides them with skills to embark on their own devised projects. Workshops will be pitched to the level and experience of the group.
The workshop does not explore suggested themes and texts, or devise performances for examinations.
· Warm up

· Skills building activity (such as lifting technique)
· Creative tasks and devising processes
· Cool down reflection and questions

Facilitators:
Frantic Assembly is led by Artistic Director Scott Graham. Scott formed the company with Steven Hoggett and Vicki Middleton in 1994 and continues to collaborate with many of today’s most inspiring artists. Having toured extensively throughout the UK, Frantic Assembly has built an enviable reputation as one of the most exciting companies in the country. The company has also performed, created and collaborated in 30 different countries across the world.

This workshop will draw on the expertise of ‘The Village Special School’ for specific presentations.

This Job Alike Workshop is an opportunity for FOBISIA Pastoral Leaders across the region to get together to share good practice and develop new ideas about pastoral care. All participants will be actively engaged in creating the agenda to ensure that the two day event meets the needs and wishes of those attending. All sessions will be delivered by those participating in the workshop.

Some initial ideas for session topics are listed below:
 Introducing and evaluating Pastoral Systems
 Supporting Academic performance
 Effective Communication between key stakeholders
 Use of technology to increase parental engagement
 Effective and engaging ways of delivering PSHE
 Best practice in boarding
The above sessions are merely suggestions and may be adapted or dropped according to the wishes of those involved. It is hoped that the agenda will evolve based on the experience and interests of those attending. A Google Drive Folder will be shared with all delegates to build the agenda collaboratively as well as sharing resources in the run up to this event.
