On Wednesday, we will host the Swim Team end of term fun evening where we wish all our seniors the very best of luck as they head to their end of year and GCSE exams. Please bring party food and drinks to share (please no nuts or food on sticks). The session will be hosted in the deep 1.8m pool and will consist of waterpolo and fun games.

We look forward to seeing you all there 2.40 – 4pm

45 Swimmers attended the 2018 hosting of the Marlin Mayhem swim meet at St Andrews this weekend.

The team were more unified than ever at the meet and this was revealed in a superb series of results:

67 Swimmers attended the BISAC Swimming Championships last weekend with our largest ever Senior Swim Team. Every swimmer gave an amazing performance in a long hot day of swimming. Shrewbury finished 4th overall with a record number of points from the meet. This year the swimmers voted at the end of the meet for their swimmer’s swimmer of the meet – the person they believed gave the most to the team – congratulations Honor and Medbua for being the first to win this award.

67 Swimmers will be competing over the weekend at BISAC swimming, good luck to all swimmers involved. Please see below for all important information regarding this weekend:

Saturday Seniors (11 & Over) @ ISB – Bus will leave SHB at 6.00am, please aim to arrive at ISB at 6.30am ready for warm up.

Sunday Juniors (10 & Under) @ NIST – Bus will leave SHB at 6.45am, please aim to arrive at NIST at 7.15am ready for warm up.

Medals are great but Personal Best Swims are Better.

Team t-shirts are available to purchase from Khun Monz on Monday. They are priced at 350 thb each if you would like your name on the shirt this will be a further 100thb.

The annual Marlins Mayhem Swim Meet will this year be hosted over Saturday 31st March – Sunday 1st April. This year we would like to invite all participants who have previously undertaken a time trial at Shrewsbury and therefore have times recorded to take part in the event.

The entry fee is 900thb and includes: lunch voucher, T-shirt and swim cap.

Swimmers may compete in 5 individual events and 2 relays.

Entries close on Thursday 15th February, please collect a registration and consent form from the Activities Office.

Dear Parents and Swimmers

Due to there being only 7 swimmers registered for the BISAC trials tonight and 35 registered for next week, together with the ongoing inclement weather, BISAC trials will be postponed tonight. If you have not yet registered to attend and would like to do so please follow the link here. 

Swimmers must be regularly attending a minimum of 2 swim sessions per week to be considered for the BISAC team.

12 Swimmers experienced their first ever swim meet at the weekend at the Bangkok Prep Puppy Cup. Swimmers competed in all four strokes over 25 meters, finishing the session with an exciting relay.
