On Saturday March 8th, the event selection for BISAC will take place. The meet will start at 9am with warm up at 8.30am, the meet will conclude by 2.00pm.

This meet will be the final and only event selection opportunity for BISAC, (for children who are already part of the BISAC squad) attendance at the swim meet will also confirm your ability to attend the BISAC swim meet – Seniors 28th & 30th March, Juniors 29th March.

Any senior swimmers (11 years +) who wish to be selected for the 400m freestyle, should attend the 400m time trial on Friday 28th February at 3.15pm.

The first 3 swimmers in each race who have been attending BISAC swim training will be selected to attend the BISAC swim meet hosted at NIST on March 28th – 30th (Seniors 28th & 30th March, Juniors 29th March).

Juniors may enter 4 individual events + 2 relays and Seniors may enter 6 individual events + 2 relays – should any swimmers qualify for more than their permitted number of events, the swimmer will need to discuss with their coach the events that they will take part in. Dear Parents and Swimmers

This weekend Shrewsbury International School host 8 other schools in the Arena Invitational Swim Relays.

Junior swimmers should arrive in their green and gold swim kit and white Shrewsbury Swim hat by 7.30am at the latest.

Senior swimmers (those over 11 years old) should arrive by 12 noon at the latest.

Please note the only entrance to the school will be through the single gate closest to the car park, the entrance to the front of the school will be closed.

To allow the coaches opportunity to best arrange the swim team, we politely ask that all parents remain in the blue seating area. Remembering that seating here is limited so arrive early to ensure you have the best seat. Please do not bring large bags and hampers with you to poolside which may take up additional seating space.

Swimmers will be seated exclusively on the grey seating area. All swimmers must therefore have with them sunscreen and plenty of water to drink, they may wish to have a light snack such as banana during the meet, however due to the nature of the swim meet it is not necessary to eat a lot during the meet to refuel.

Catering will be available along the covered walk way to the canteen and a wide range of sellers will be present along the entrance into school from the car park, including:

ARENA

INUS

FINIS

REMBRANT

FLOW HOUSE
